Shop Review: "This Clos du Bois Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and velvety on the palate. The wine is deep purple in color with a ruby red hue; it displays aromas of ripe blackberry with hints of milk chocolate and oak barrel spice." https://www.empirewine.com/wine/clos-du-bois-cabernet-sauvignon-2020-i38638/
Personal Review: This was one of the bottles of wine that my grandfather brought for my family when he visited in early January and he definitely knows his way around wine so I was very excited to try it. When I first smelled it, the wine smelled like dark cherries with very, and I mean very, small hints of chocolate which really piqued my interest because I really enjoy both of those aromas separately and together. When I first tasted it, the wine was definitely more full-bodied than other wines that I have previously tried. It also tasted a little bit oaky, most likely because it was stored in barrels of some sort. Overall, I really enjoyed this wine and I would definitely have it again, especially with some food next time.
